An interactive social experiment for the Wolfsonian Design Museum that allows the public to become curators of their own design exhibit, a collection of individual and community trophies. This concept of Winning would hopefully shed some light on what is really important to people and communities.
- The Winning App is an interactive social experiment that lets users record a live journal of all the personal trophies–big and small–that occur in their daily lives. Once a week, their most significant trophies are uploaded to a community trophy room that trends the most valued experiences or accomplishments that occur within that city. This app brings into question what we actually value or idolize in our own lives and what that says about us as a community. This iPad app for the Wolfsonian Design Museum allows the public to become curators of their own design exhibit. Rather than using a grid system to allow users to pin their trophies, this app is based off the metaphor of a personal trophy room, one where the user gets to personalize their virtual space by taking a photograph of a meaningful space, and the ability to upload daily trophies onto the walls.
